Six stations will be set up in the reserve along a designated path, with each station offering a dish and a matched beverage (but the menu remains secret until the event). The organizers’ commitment to an environmentally friendly event and a zero-waste festival is what makes it special.

The locals who run Smokin Brother & Co have big plans for the smoked meats festival Mudgeeque that takes place in June. The rustic rural property Evamor Valley will be awash with more vendors and top-notch local wines and beers. There will also be more transportation and more space. Enjoy a day of music with a variety of blues, folk, and rock bands. The aroma of wood smoke will be a lasting memory.

Since 1996, Woolgoolga, a coastal town located 550 km north of Sydney, has transformed into a riotous celebration of culture, color, and curry on one single day in September. Woolgoolga is home to a large Punjabi community, which has roots in blueberry, growing after World War II. It also built Australia’s first Sikh Temple. Woolgoolga Curryfest celebrates multiculturalism in the town. It includes Indian food, dancing performances, live music, a kids’ zone, and cooking demonstrations by celebrity chef Miguel Maestre.

Sawtell has golden beaches and fish-filled creeks and is just south of Coffs Harbour. The annual Sawtell Chilli Festival has taken place on the fig-lined Main Street for the past 22 years. It is a great destination for anyone who wants to experience a tongue-numbing and throat-tickling sensation. The festival offers everything from spicy ginger beer to dark chili chocolate and everything in between. There are also activities for children.

Murray River Salami Festival is a one-day festival dedicated to cured meat that takes place in November. You’ll also find food stalls and craft beer, wine, and kid’s rides in Euston, which is a riverside city on the border of New South Wales and Victoria. It’s even more enjoyable to finish a long ride with a cold beer. Gears & Beers is held in Wagga Wagga between March and October. There are a variety of rides for different age groups, cycling levels, and distances. Dirty130 is the signature ride – a 130km mix of gravel, road, and private farms. Country views are visible as you travel along. The festival is held on Sundays, and guests can enjoy a variety of local beers, ciders, coffee, food, and live music. Non-riders are also welcome.

In the past, there have been celebrity chef appearances and farm tours, as well as a potato auction for charity. There is also a demonstration kitchen where you can make potato pies, curries, and chowder. In the future, there will be a renewed emphasis on culture and heritage.
